This page explains how Naja7 handles account data, exercise photos, conversations, and other uploads.

Data used to provide Naja7

Naja7 processes a profile name, email address, chosen language and grade, questions, optional exercise photos, study documents, profile pictures, conversations, usage counts, device security signals, and subscription status to provide and protect the learning service.

Exercise photos in Android v12

Exercise photos submitted from Android v12 are transmitted securely to Naja7’s authenticated Firebase backend, processed temporarily, and sent to OpenAI to generate an answer. Naja7 does not permanently store these new photos or their encoded data in Firebase Storage or Firestore. The photo is not available in Naja7 after you reopen the conversation.

Chat history and earlier uploads

Chat history may retain the question text, AI answer, subject, timestamps, and metadata such as the image count. Exercise photos uploaded by older app versions may still remain in Firebase Storage and may be visible in older chats. The Android v12 change does not remove them.

Study documents and profile pictures

Study documents and profile pictures use separate upload and storage flows and may remain in Firebase Storage. The non-retention rule for new Android v12 exercise photos does not apply to them.

OpenAI processing

For exercise-photo answers, Naja7 sends the photo and question to OpenAI with store: false, so the generated response is not stored for later API retrieval. This does not guarantee zero retention by OpenAI. Under its API data controls, OpenAI may retain content in abuse-monitoring logs or retain certain image inputs for safety review.

Students under 13

A parent or guardian must create and manage an under-13 account using the adult’s email address. Naja7 does not ask for the child’s exact birth date. The guardian can review and delete the account and its content.

Free-plan advertising

Google Mobile Ads may process device and advertising information to serve and measure ads for Free accounts according to applicable consent choices. After the Free limit, a user may voluntarily watch up to two rewarded ads per day; each verified ad unlocks one additional question. Under-13 accounts receive child-directed treatment and General-rated ad content only. Plus accounts do not load ads. Where required, users can reopen advertising privacy choices from Account settings.

AI-generated answers

Answers are generated by artificial intelligence and can be incomplete or wrong. Naja7 supports learning but does not replace teachers, official Moroccan curriculum material, or professional medical, legal, or safety advice.

Service providers

Firebase services are used for authentication, storage, database, abuse protection, and server functions. OpenAI services are used to generate and safety-check tutor answers. Apple or Google may process payments when a subscription is purchased through their store.

Control and deletion

Users can edit their profile, delete individual conversations, and delete their account and associated app data in the app. See the account deletion instructions for details and exceptions.
